Lauren, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, is a graduate of both the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Michigan Law School. She's been matchmaking since her days as a Wall Street lawyer, where several of her matches found love in and outside of the law firm. As a busy professional, Lauren has always had an interest in the dating lives of the people she meets. She very easily strikes up conversations with single and professional men and women and before long, she's offering advice on how to snag the right “guy” or “gal”. It's something that comes naturally to her and it's a passion that has ultimately turned into a successful business.

“I've always been good at relationship advice and at knowing whose right for whom,” she says, as she sends a quick email to a prospective client. “This business allows me to bring together what I know and what I love.”

As a single woman, Lauren yearned for a service like this. Often she would spend night after night working until the wee hours of the morning, only to find that on her “free” nights she had no one to call. “There I was, an attractive, successful, young lawyer, living in New York City, with absolutely no one to go out with.” After flirting with online dating, Lauren decided that her right guy just didn't exist and she decided that she would prepare herself to be a happy, single, globe-trotting woman. But deep down inside, she knew that the idea of there being no men who met her standards was ridiculous.

And she was right!

In 2003, Lauren married the love of her life, who is now a partner at a D.C. law firm, and she has two beautiful little girls. And yes—her marriage is a result of a blind date! And helping others find their own perfect match has become her mission.
